UCPB SAVINGS BANK BAGGED 6 BANCNET NATIONAL AND BRANCH AWARDS FOR 2019

As a validation of the President and CEO’s statement, UCPB Savings Bank (USB) bagged 3 national awards and 3 branch awards during the recently concluded BancNet Outsourcing Services Users
Conference during its  10 th  Year Operations held at the Ayala Banquet Hall, Makati Sports Club, Makati City on October 10, 2019.

Numancia and Aloran Branch received the award on Support Financial Inclusion by Operating ATMs
Exclusively in Remote Locations.  These branches are equipped with the only ATM in their respective areas, with the nearest ATMs located approximately 7 kms. from the municipalities and cities where our branches are.”

Libmanan Branch was awarded the Outsourcing Bank with ATMs in Top 10 of BancNet Network, in
terms of highest volume of transactions; and La Castellana Branch bagged the award on
Outsourcing Bank with ATMs in Top 10 of BancNet Network.  Both awards of which are in terms of
highest volume of transactions as acquirer for the year.

Amongst the national awards given to USB are Top 3 Outsourcing Bank with the Highest Volume of
Transactions as Issuer for 2019, Leading Outsourcing Bank in Innovation (Pilot Outsourcing Bank to
Implement Instapay, QR Code Payment and PesoNet through Bank Own Mobile Application) and Top
1 Outsourcing Bank with the Highest Volume of Transactions as Acquirer for 2019.  The awards
were accepted by our ITD Head Wilfredo Bautista, Operations Division Head Ernesto Olavario, ATM
Department Head Alwin Lopez and IT Technical Writer/ Documentation Officer, Jeremiah Cruz.

On the same occasion, BancNet featured UCPB Savings Bank Sogod Branch as the only branch with
an available ATM and over-the-counter operations during super typhoon Yolanda on November 8,
2013.  A video presentation featured people from different municipalities and cities in long lines to
withdraw cash, and enforcers securing the Branch premises for an orderly operation.

Through the years, USB lived up its vision and mission to bank the unbanked and underbanked with
its personal and proactive service, whether in crisis, breakthrough or success.
