UCPB Savings Bank Strengthens Community Presence in San Jose, Batangas

February 2, 2026

UCPB Savings Bank, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Jose, conducted a week-long marketing activity from January 12-20, 2026, aimed at strengthening the Bank’s presence in the community and reintroducing its wide range of financial products and services. The initiative provided the UCPBS San Jose Branch with an opportunity to engage directly with residents and local business owners, promote its financial solutions, and reinforce its commitment to supporting the community.

As part of the activity, the Branch set up a booth during the Business Permit Renewal (One Stop Shop 2026) event. The booth became a platform to connect with various business owners, provide information about the Bank’s offerings, and highlight tailored financial solutions. The activity was further enhanced by Geely Lipa, which displayed a vehicle to promote UCPB Savings Bank’s Auto Loan product and attract additional attention from visitors.

On the second day of the activity, the Municipal Mayor, Hon.  Reggie Arada Virtucio, personally visited the booth, to witness the Bank’s active interaction with the community. This marked a positive step toward strengthening the relationship between the Branch and the LGU. Notably, UCPB Savings Bank was the only bank among seven operating in the area that was granted the opportunity to set up a booth during the event, reflecting the Bank’s growing visibility and credibility in San Jose.

During the six-day marketing initiative, the Branch achieved tangible results, including the opening of 15 new accounts, 4 pending new accounts, and 20 auto loan inquiries. Beyond these measurable outcomes, the activity highlighted the Bank’s active involvement and commitment to fostering financial inclusion and providing accessible services to the local community.

This successful engagement underscores UCPB Savings Bank’s dedication to building meaningful relationships, enhancing community presence, and promoting financial awareness. By connecting directly with residents and business owners, the Bank continues to strengthen trust, expand awareness of its products, and contribute to the growth and development of San Jose, Batangas.
