Paying tribute to the medical frontliners who unfailingly went beyond the call of duty to help manage the unprecedented health crisis that affected the country’s communities, the Bank partnered with the Department of Health (DOH) through the Kasama Mo Salary Loan Program. Qualified or eligible employees of DOH can now avail of salary loans that can address their financial needs.
The agreement was formally signed by both parties on August 22, 2022, at the DOH Compound, San Lazaro St, Santa Cruz, Manila, Metro Manila. Present at the event were signatories DOH Administrative Service Director IV Roderick M. Napulan, CESE, UCPBS President and CEO Lizette Margaret Mary J. Racela, and Branch Banking Head Patrick M. Gonzalez. During the agency’s flag ceremony, Usec Maria Rosario S. Vergeire, Officer-in-Charge and Spokesperson expressed her gratitude to the Bank for the partnership.
