UCPBS Bicol proudly took part in the 2025 Recognition of Excellence in Regional Currency Management hosted by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – South Luzon Regional Office (BSP-SLRO), an event that gathered banking institutions and key stakeholders from across the region in celebration of excellence, compliance, and industry partnership.
Representing UCPB Savings Bank (UCPBS) Bicol at the event was a member of the 2026 Executive Committee of Bankers Association of Camarines Sur Inc. (BACSI), reflecting the Bank’s continued involvement in leadership and collaborative initiatives within the regional banking community. The evening served as a meaningful Bankers’ Appreciation and Awards Night, recognizing institutions that demonstrated outstanding performance and adherence to regulatory standards in various categories.
Despite the participation of several larger banks under BSP-SLRO, UCPBS was honored to be nominated in the “ZERO FIT Deposit Excellence” category alongside Asia United Bank (AUB) and LANDBANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (LBP), with LBP declared as the winner. The nomination itself is a testament to UCPBS’ strong commitment to maintaining high standards in currency management and compliance with BSP regulations.
Adding to the evening’s achievements, BACSI was recognized as BSP Advocacies & Programs Champion, highlighting the collective efforts of its member banks in advancing regulatory initiatives and supporting programs that strengthen the banking sector.
