Baguio City and UCPB Savings Bank Bring Financial Support Closer to Government Employees Through the KASAMA MO Salary Loan Program

November 6, 2026

Empowering Public Servants. Strengthening Families. Building Stronger Communities.

In every community, public servants dedicate themselves to improving the lives of others. Through the demands of daily service, financial flexibility can make a meaningful difference in helping them achieve their personal and family goals. Recognizing this need, the City Government of Baguio and UCPB Savings Bank (UCPBS) – La Trinidad Branch have forged a partnership to bring reliable and accessible financial support closer to government employees through the Kasama Mo Salary Loan Program.

The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on November 4, 2026, at the City Mayor’s Office. The agreement was signed by City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, with Jerry C. Guevara – Local Treasury Operations Officer IV and Adam Bert A. Lacay – Community Affairs Officer III, serving as witnesses.

Representing UCPBS during the signing were Branch Banking Division Head Ma. Catalina M. Cruz, Region Head Luisito C. Evangelista, Branch Lending Head Richard C. Quirimit, Branch Admin Support Officer Emmanuel R. Macario, Regional Lending Officer John Rhys A. Natividad, Branch Head Miljohn A. Fabie, Marketing Specialists Rudy Julian Cariño and Jenyca Bacani, and Collection Specialist Ronnie Doster.

Through the Kasama Mo Salary Loan Program, qualified City Government employees can conveniently access financial assistance designed to help address personal and family needs, manage unexpected expenses, and support important life priorities. More than providing funds, the program offers peace of mind and a dependable source of financial support when it matters most.

For UCPBS, this collaboration is more than providing a loan facility arrangement. It reflects the Bank’s enduring commitment to bringing responsive financial solutions closer to the communities it serves. By partnering with local government units and institutions, UCPBS continues to create meaningful opportunities that support hardworking Filipinos, strengthen families, and contribute to local community development.

As a government financial institution, UCPBS remains steadfast in its mission of advancing financial inclusion by making banking products and services more accessible, relevant, and responsive to the needs of every Filipino.

Together, the City Government of Baguio and UCPBS look forward to helping more employees achieve greater financial confidence and stability through the Kasama Mo Salary Loan Program, while fostering partnerships that make a positive and lasting impact on communities.

As communities continue to grow and prosper, UCPBS remains committed to bringing meaningful financial solutions closer to every Filipino. Wherever life takes you, UCPBS is proud to be Kasama Mo every step of the way.
