UCPBS Brings Kasama Mo to City Hall, Signs Salary Loan Partnership with Santa Rosa LGU

July 7, 2026

SANTA ROSA CITY, LAGUNA, July 2, 2026 — For UCPB Savings Bank (UCPBS), being Kasama Mo means meeting people where they are, including the public servants who work every day to serve their communities.

That holistic service came full circle on July 2, 2026, when UCPBS, through its Sta. Rosa Branch, formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City Government of Santa Rosa at the Office of the Mayor, extending the Bank’s Salary Loan Program to qualified LGU employees. The agreement was signed on behalf of the city by Mayor Arlene Arcillas, marking the official launch of the partnership between UCPBS and the City Government of Santo Rosa.

Through the partnership, eligible Santa Rosa’s LGU employees will gain access to fast and affordable salary loan financing designed to support their financial needs. At the same time, the collaboration reinforces UCPBS’ longstanding commitment to strengthening relationships with the local government institutions while expanding its presence across Laguna.

Like many meaningful partnerships, this milestone was built through months of collaboration, coordination, and sustained engagement between UCPBS’ Branch Banking Division Team and representatives of the City Government of Santa Rosa. What began as a series of conversations has now become a formal partnership dedicated to serving the city’s workforce.

“Partnerships like this don’t happen overnight, they’re built one conversation at a time. Seeing it finally come together for Santa Rosa reminds us why we do this work,” said Riva O. Cuvin, Region Head, Luzon 2

For UCPBS Sta. Rosa Branch, the signing the signing represents more than a business milestone, it is a testament to the value of cultivating strong local relationships that create meaningful opportunities for both UCPBS and the communities we serve.

“This partnership means our fellow Rosenians in public service now have a bank, as Kasama they can count on when they need it most. That’s what makes this milestone personal for our branch,”— Richard C. Quirimit, Branch Lending Head

UCPBS likewise extends its appreciation to everyone whose dedication and teamwork helped bring the partnership to fruition, including John Cliff C. Flores, Marketing Specialist; Randy S. Tulagan, Regional Lending Officer; Richard C. Quirimit, Branch Lending Head; Riva O. Cuvin, Region Head for Luzon 2; and Ma. Catalina M. Cruz, Business Banking Division Head.

The partnership marks another meaningful milestone for UCPBS in 2026, reflecting the Bank’s continuing commitment to supporting public servants and strengthening partnerships with local government institutions. As UCPBS continues to expand its reach, it remains true to its promise of being Kasama Mo, helping empower Filipino communities through accessible financial solutions.
