In the aftermath of Typhoon Tino, UCPB Savings (UCPBS) Bank reached out to families in Talisay City and Balamban, Cebu, offering not only essential supplies but also comfort and unity during a difficult time. The outreach formed part of the Bank’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to help communities rebuild and recover.
On November 12, 2025, the UCPBS Naga Branch, together with Nexus Real Estate Corporation, visited evacuees in Talisay. Employees distributed food packs at the evacuation area and to the riverside residents near Mananga bridge, many of whom were still searching through what remained of their homes. The recipients expressed sincere appreciation for the Bank’s presence and support, sharing how the gesture reassured them during an overwhelming time. Simple conversations, words of comfort, and the willingness of the employees to listen made the visit especially meaningful for many families.

Continuing its mission of compassion, the UCPBS Tuburan Branch partnered with the Local Government Unit of Balamban on November 13, 2025, to extend relief to affected communities in Balamban. Residents welcomed the team with gratitude, acknowledging that the food packs provided immediate help as they worked to rebuild their lives following the disaster.
For many survivors, the days following Typhoon Tino have been marked by grief, uncertainty, and the challenge of starting over after losing loved ones, homes, and treasured belongings. Somehow, UCPBS hopes to bring a sense of comfort, reminding communities that they are not alone in their journey toward healing and recovery.
