Since June 24, 2020, UCPB Savings San Jose, Batangas Branch was in full operation, bringing its pro-active and personal products and services not only to San Jose but to its neighboring municipalities. The community did not only enjoy its deposit and loan products but also its modern facilities, spacious and comfortable interior, and Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Due to the limitations of the ongoing pandemic, the long-awaited blessing and inauguration of the branch finally took place last January 7, 2022.
The event started with a motorcade, followed by a mass and blessing, officiated by Rev. Father Edwin Tolentino, Parish Priest of Saint Joseph the Patriarch Church. In observance of the Covid protocol, a short program was conducted.
Hon. Mayor Valentino “Ben” Patron, San Jose Batangas Municipal Mayor expressed his gratitude to the Bank since the residents and businessmen have an additional facility for ATM withdrawals and bank transactions. He further stated that the presence of UCPB Savings in the Municipality is not only a blessing but also a sign of progress. He added that the partnership of the Bank, LGU, and the community must be rooted in trust.
