UCPBS JOINS INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP 2024!

UCPB Savings Bank, through the initiative of Calapan Branch Lite joined the celebration of International Coastal Clean Up  last Sept 7, 2024.  The activity was spearheaded by Calapan Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo in coordination with the City Environment and Natural Resources Department.

The ICC is the world’s largest volunteer effort for ocean’s health which aims to engage people to remove trash from the beaches and waterways.

UCPBS Calapan took the lead in enticing youth organizations particularly The Order of Demolay -Sesinado Bugarin Chapter and Oriental Mindoro National High School’s Youth for Environment to take part in the said activity and increase their awareness on environmental issues.

UCPB Savings Bank through the communities it serves, will continue to take an active part in making life better by collectively improving not just the financial  but the social and environmental condition of the people.  Thus, enabling them to build a more promising future.
