UCPB Savings Bank and the Philippine Red Cross have partnered once again for a blood donation drive that took place at the UCPBS Head Office in Robinsons Cybergate Magnolia last June 28, 2024.
The worthwhile endeavor is now on its 5th year. It aims to encourage more people to become regular donors, as it gives them access to safe blood in case of need and promotes good health. The said bloodletting campaign was spearheaded by the President & CEO of UCPB Savings Bank, Lizette Margaret Mary J. Racela while Philippine Red Cross was represented by Mr. Gerald Valeriano MD. A total of 47 successful donors were processed.
Last July 31, 2024, UCPB Savings bank was awarded by Philippine Red Cross a Diploma of Service as recognition of its meritorious services in promoting Blood Services through the years. This is a testament of how committed UCPB Savings Bank is to go beyond the call of duty and be of service to the community.
