August 8, 2025 – UCPB Savings Bank, in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), proudly marked its 6th consecutive year of partnership in hosting a blood donation drive as part of its ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility.
The annual Blood Donation Program, held once again at UCPB Savings Bank’s premises, is part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The primary goal of this program is to support the Philippine Red Cross in maintaining an adequate and safe blood supply for Filipinos in need, particularly during emergencies and critical care situations.
This year, the event drew 50 registered participants, resulting in 38 successful blood donors, a strong testament to the unwavering spirit of volunteerism among UCPB Savings Bank employees and supporters. Each donation contributes directly to the lives of patients in need of blood transfusions, making this initiative a vital part of the country’s healthcare support system.
