UCPB Savings Bank officially opened its doors to the Municipality of Candelaria and its neighboring municipalities on January 28, 2025. Being the first Bank, the blessing and ribbon cutting were attended by the Municipal Councilors and Hon. Mayor Byron Jones Edquilang’s representative. The LGU cited that the Bank will open many opportunities to the community through its various products and services that would support and strengthen the economy and improve the lives of the Candelarians. Individuals from various sectors came to be part of the celebration and appreciated the Bank’s modern facilities, spacious and comfortable interior, and Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
The President and CEO, Ms. Lizette Margaret Mary J. Racela expressed her appreciation to the LGU for the support given to the Bank from the site selection, document completion, initial operation and inauguration. She assured that the community’s warm welcome will be reciprocated with excellent community and consumer service that the Bank is known for.
